The question we were interested in was How males in Ancient Rome dress. We thought that the men in Ancient Rome wore Togas.

Togas were worn often during state occasions. Togas looked like a white sheet 9 yards long. They were arranged very careful in a stylish way. Togas fell out of style rather early. A Roman could tell how important or wealthy a person was from their Toga. Most Roman clothes were made from wool, which was spun and woven by hand or in a workshop. The cloth was stiffened by soaking it in urine and then it was cleaned by rubbing it with a kind of clay. The basic garment for men was a simple, belted tunic made from two rectangles of wool stitched together.
